On April 12th, Jane Chase, Executive Director of IOPP, announced during a packaging student conference at Rochester Institute of Technology that Rutgers PE senior Clay Gons is the recipient of the IOPP PepsiCo R&D scholarship.

This competitive scholarship offered by the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) in collaboration with PepsiCo is an award of $5,000. The scholarship is open to all packaging students in North America, and it is granted to the best applicant each year based on their involvement in the packaging industry, educational and internship performance, extracurricular activities, recommendations, and future ambitions within packaging.
