Professor Yi receives the Cheney Fellowships at the University of Leeds, UK. The Cheney Fellowships at the University of Leeds are a prestigious program designed to bring talented international researchers to the university to collaborate on research, explore new ideas, and build lasting networks.

Prof. Yi will work as a Visiting Cheney Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Biological Sciences, during a period of two years from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027. He plans to conduct a few short visits to foster innovation and collaboration with researchers at the University of Leeds on the next generation of wearable sensing and assistive robotic devices for healthcare automation.
