Academic Policies

Each student must be aware that they are ultimately responsible for completing the bachelor of science degree requirements.

Keep track of your own progress through the program and speak with the Undergraduate Director when you run into academic or other problems. Always make sure you are following the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering  (MAE) curriculum guidelines when you are creating your schedule.

During registration, review the check-list of courses in Degree Navigator to make sure your understanding of your status agrees with the view of the School of Engineering (SoE). It is especially important for graduating seniors to check Degree Navigator with their advisors to ensure that summer courses, transfer credits, and electives have been recorded as expected. 

In particular, students should be familiar with MAE degree requirements, MAE courses, School of Engineering Academic Policies and Procedures, and University Policies and Procedures.
