Professor Yogesh Jaluria awarded the 2020 ASME Holley Medal

Professor Yogesh Jaluria has been awarded the 2020 Holley Medal by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for pioneering achievements in fiber drawing and coating for both traditional and specialty fibers that resulted in the development of high quality fibers at reduced costs to meet the needs of emerging application areas. The ASME Holley Medal was established in 1924 and is awarded for outstanding and unique act(s) of an engineering nature, accomplishing a noteworthy and timely public benefit. The award, which consists of an honorarium and a vermeil medal, is to be presented later in the year, probably at the International Mechanical engineering Congress and Exposition in November 2020.
