Prof. James Guo has been conferred an Honorary Professorship of Amity University in Noida, India, in recognition of his research achievements and leadership in the areas of enhanced heat transfer and radiative heat transfer. He received this distinction at the valedictory ceremony of the 2nd International Conference on Future Learning Aspects of Mechanical Engineering (FLAME - 2020), 5th – 7th August 2020. He has delivered a Plenary Lecture “Heat Transfer Enhancement with Nanofluids” in the conference. The conference with nearly 500 presentations was held in an online platform due to the pandemic. Prof. Guo was quoted as saying in the award ceremony: “I am so honored that Amity has bestowed me this honor, one that I did not expect but very much appreciate. This honorary professorship award given by an esteemed research university in India has particular meaning to me and my research group at Rutgers during the pandemic." Prof. Guo is currently the Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Enhanced Heat Transfer.
