Graduate Student Chunchu Zhu Won Best Student Paper Award from ASME DSCD
MAE graduate student Chunchu Zhu received the 2023 Best Robotics Student Paper Award from the Robotics Technical Committee of ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Division (DSCD). The awarded paper was entitled "Knee stiffness in assistive device control at quiet stance: A preliminary study" and presented at the 2023 Modeling, Estimation and Control Conference (MECC) in Lake Tahoe, NV in October 2023 that was sponsored by ASME DSCD. The paper was co-authored with Ms. Gayatri Sreenivasan (graduated with MS degree from ECE at Rutgers in May 2024 and now a first-year doctoral student at Purdue University). Chunchu is a third-year doctoral student in MAE and working in Robotics, Automation and Mechatronics (RAM) Lab with Prof. Jingang Yi.
