During the beginning of March, The AIAA Rutgers Rocket Propulsion Lab (RRPL) flew a rocket to about 7,000 feet at the Maryland-Delaware Rocketry Association (MDRA). This rocket stood at about 8.6 feet tall, and was named "Excalibur" as a nod towards the Rutgers Scarlet Knight mascot.
This flight was a small scale practice flight before RRPL's Spaceport America Cup competition in June, where the team will be flying a 14 foot tall multi-stage rocket to 30,000 feet. Overall, the launch was a success, and the RRPL team was encouraged by the field to visit again soon!
