In the summer Professor James Guo presented two invited plenary lectures at international conferences. The first one was titled as "Near-Junction Hot Spot Cooling for GaN-based Devices". It was presented on July 22nd in the International Symposium on Fluids and Thermal Engineering (FLUTE-2021), Noida, India. The conference was held online due to the pandemic. The second one was entitled "Heat Transfer Analysis in Ni-Water Nanofluid-filled Glass Louver for Solar Energy Harvest and Daylighting". It was virtually presented on August 1 (Beijing time) in the second International Symposium on Thermal-Fluid Dynamics (ISTFD-2021), Beijing, China. The conference was held in onsite-online hybrid model.
